A PHOTOGRAPHIC EXHIBITION
Driven by the mysterious hours of darkness, a nocturnal examination of post immigration suburban life is explored through photographs. The Melbourne neighbourhood homes that were built to house the complexity of migrant life are captured to better understand the essence of what a quintessential home is and could be. As a first generation child to immigrant parents, these images delve into the surreal manmade landscapes of the settled, decades after leaving their respective birth countries. How their relationships to manufactured space has been utilised and become a place to ultimately call home.
